This is a general discussion forum for all those interested in photography in the UK. Although there is a pre-existing rec.photo.* hierarchy, it is envisaged that this group will provide a forum for discussion of UK related photography issues, such as groups, locations, advice on reliability of photo-finishers, mail order companies, obtaining permits for various locations and so forth.

Topics of general interest, such as darkroom work, equipment advice and so forth also fall within the remit of this group.

No binary postings are acceptable. If users wish to make binaries available, URLs should be given instead. It is envisaged that a WWW site will be provided for those who wish to publish binaries, but do not have web servers themselves. Please see the FAQ for details.
