uk.rec.motorcaravans is a forum for the discussion of motorcaravans
and motorcaravanning related topics of interest to residents of, and
visitors to, the UK.
It is for the interchange of views on the merits of different models
of motorcaravans, home conversions, modifications and other technical
aspects, foreign purchase, uk registration and use, accessories, gross
vehicle weights and associated problems, motorcaravan clubs and sites,
and any other motorcaravanning related topics of use to uk residents.
Advertising
Commercial advertising of goods is forbidden except in a Signature
file as mentioned below, though on-topic announcements of events as
stated below are acceptable.
Private ads of motorcaravan related articles are allowed subject to a
10 line maximum. The subject field is in one of the following
forms to make the advertisement clear and easily avoidable:

<description of item(s) wanted>".
On-topic announcements of 10 lines or less of forthcoming events are
allowed provided the advertiser does not post more than one
announcement for a specific event per month. The subject field should
be in the form:

Signature files of no more than 4 lines containing commercial
advertising, links etc are allowed on the bottom of a private message
provided the message is otherwise on-topic.
Binaries & Formatting
The posting of binary files (e.g. pictures, compressed files, etc.) is
forbidden. A pointer to such material on a web site may be posted.
Cryptographic signatures (e.g. PGP) may be used where authentication
is important and should be as short as possible.
Posts must be readable as plain text. HTML, RTF and similarly
