uk.rec.radio-control.air is an unmoderated newsgroup for the discussion of radio control aircraft model making and radio controlled flying, including, but not limited to, conventional propeller driven aircraft (internal combustion engine or electric motor powered), gliders, ducted fans, turbines, helicopters, sports, stand-off, fun-fly and scale models.

Content should be relevant to the UK, for example:

All aspects of radio controlled model aircraft flying may be discussed, including any methods of propulsion, makes and designs of aircraft. There is no restriction of scale. Reviews of models, kits and accessories are actively encouraged.

Advertising

Adverts must be clearly marked in the subject line (the words "AD: ", "For Sale: ", "Wanted: ", "Exhibition: " or "Commercial: " at the start of the subject line are recommended).

Short (less than 10 line) commercial announcements relevant to UK aero model making are permitted (either manufacturers or traders), though extensive advertising lists are not permitted (these should be made available by mail, ftp or http to interested readers). Commercial advertisers must not post adverts more frequently than once per month.

Private for-sale or wanted adverts are permitted, though they should be short and concise. Discussion/negotiation must be via private email.

Announcements by aero modelling clubs and societies are permitted, though again these should be concise, relevant, and limited to once per month per event. Announcement of aero modelling shows or events is permitted, but limited to once per month per event.

Private adverts must be limited to a maximum of one per week per person.

Binaries & Formatting

Posts must be readable as plaintext.
