This group is for the discussion of all aspects of any legislation
(including proposed legislation) relating to a National Identity
Register and associated identity cards in the UK. Historical and
possible future developments may also be discussed.
Advertising
Advertising is forbidden. However, announcements of relevant political
campaigns and events are welcome. The subject line must start with the
word "ANNOUNCE: ", the announcement should ideally be short and contain
a link to a web site for further details. The same or a substantially
similar announcement may not be posted more than once per week.
Binaries & Formatting
Encoded binaries (e.g. pictures, compressed files, etc.) are
forbidden. Such material belongs on a web or FTP site to which
a pointer may be posted. Cryptographic signatures (e.g. PGP)
may be used where authentication is important and should be as
short as possible.
Posts must be readable as plain text. HTML, RTF and similarly
