Discussion is allowed on the basic operation of the digital set top boxes. Discussion of more technical topics such as the broadcast technology involved and technical problems with the digital services are not allowed, as this would be better suited to technical groups such as uk.tech.digital-tv.

Encoded binaries (eg. image files, word processor files, .zip files etc), HTML, or similar non-plaintext postings are not permitted. However PGP signatures are allowed, and web URLs for downloads of files are encouraged.
