Discussion group for subjects relating to the Midlands area of England. A forum for requesting and disseminating information regarding living in, or visiting, the Midlands, and discussion of the trials and tribulations of life and all that affects it in the area.

Short (less than 20 line) announcements of events relevant to readers are permitted; blatant off-topic or repetitive commercial advertising is not.

Messages posted to this newsgroup must not be cross-posted to more than a TOTAL of four uk.local.* newsgroups; these may be geographically adjacent or overlapping, or connected by the subject of the post (e.g. "moving house from Newport to Nuneaton").
