uk.local.derbyshire is for the discussion of issues relating to Derbyshire, England. Contributions are welcome from people who: Advertising is not welcome, with the exception of: so long as any two from the same individual or organisation occur at intervals of four weeks or greater, and are not repeated.

Uk.adverts.* and other relevant "offered" newsgroups should be used instead for other advertisements.

Personal contact ads for partners are not welcome. Please use uk.adverts.personals, uk.adverts.personals.gay-lesbian-bi, or uk.people.bdsm.personals as appropriate instead.

Participants in discussions may include references to their Derbyshire business in their .sig.

Announcements of community news, events or other information that is of direct relevance to the people of Derbyshire are welcome.

Messages posted to this newsgroup must not be cross-posted to more than a TOTAL of four uk.local.* newsgroups; these may be geographically adjacent or overlapping, or connected by the subject of the post (e.g. "moving house from Whitby to Matlock").
