(Not Moderated)
This newsgroup exists for the discussion of computer peripherals as used
in the UK. A peripheral is a computer device that is not part of the
essential computer (the processor, memory, motherboard) but is situated
relatively close by. Some peripherals are mounted inside the case with
the main part of the computer (e.g. hard disk, network card, DVD)
whereas others are outside (e.g. printer, scanner, external modem).
Examples of subjects which are on topic include discussion of how to get
a specific peripheral to work (often with another one), how best to
connect and configure it, where to get the latest drivers and requests
for comparisons of alternative models.
